The morning markets in Bali are a vibrant glimpse into local life — a place where the island truly wakes up. Before the tourists arrive, locals gather to buy fresh vegetables, tropical fruits, fragrant flowers for offerings, and handmade goods. The air is filled with the scent of incense, coffee, and spices, and you’ll hear friendly chatter mixed with the rhythm of bargaining.

It’s more than just a market — it’s a cultural experience. Visiting early, around 5–8 AM, lets you see authentic Balinese daily life before the stalls transition to souvenirs later in the day.

✨ Tip: Try the local snacks like bubur ayam (chicken porridge) or pisang goreng (fried banana) while you wander — they taste even better fresh from the market. ゚

• The journey takes about 15 minutes to reach the upper station from the valley

We hiked down for an hour or so, holding onto stones and the old, broken man-made rail just to steady ourselves. At some parts we even crawled, the trail so steep and slippery from the rain. The descent was tough, but at the bottom we were greeted by soft sand, towering cliffs, and blue-green waves crashing on the shore. It was worth the effort.

My morning visit at one of the local Market in Bali….
I’ve always had a special love for local markets. For me, they’re the heart of every place we visit — colorful, lively, and full of stories waiting to be discovered. Whether it’s the aroma of fresh spices, the chatter of friendly vendors, or the sight of handmade crafts, there’s always something that makes each market unique. That’s why whenever we travel, a visit to the local market is a must on my list — an experience I simply cannot miss ゚viralfbreelsfypシ゚viral ゚viralシ I'ts All About Food by perlacohq.

Arrived at the schools lobby today.
Dussehra (Vijaya Dashami, Dasara, or Dashain) is a Hindu festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil. It is a gazetted holiday in India, which is marked on the 10th day of the bright half (Shukla Paksha) of the month of Ashvin (Ashwayuja), according to the Hindu calendar.

Is Dussehra a Public Holiday?
Dussehra is a public holiday. It is a day off for the general population, and schools and most businesses are closed.

What Do People Do?
Many people of the Hindu faith observe Dussehra through special prayer meetings and food offerings to the gods at home or in temples throughout India. They also hold outdoor fairs (melas) and large parades with effigies of Ravana (a mythical king of ancient Sri Lanka). The effigies are burnt on bonfires in the evening. Dussehra is the culmination of the Navaratri ゚viralfbreelsfypシ゚viral ゚viralシ #
