The day we made our last announcement about shutting down almost all our experiences, we received this in our mail.

We’re happy to win the Traveler Choice Award for another year.

Once again, thanks to all our lovely patrons we’ve had over the years. You guys have really been top notch folks and we’ve always enjoyed the pleasure of hosting all of you.

Dear Patrons, for posterity.

We chose not to host because the joy of hosting is diminishing with every mountain seeing more crowds, trash and noise. Seeing the inevitable change hurts us at a deep and personal level & leading you there gives us no pleasure.

We will continue to host only because of our love for hosting and Mumbai’s great outdoors, but at a version scaled down 90-95%.

It’s been a pleasure & honour hosting you. Until we see you again, keep adventuring safely.

This will be our last open group day hike for the winter season.
We will visit the mountains post this winter directly in the monsoon.

We look forward to our pleasant winter moments with the last remaining untouched & untrashed set of mountains we still have access to.

We’re happy to be featured in the cover story of - Weekend Chennai that talks about the joys of a slow holiday through immersive experiences.

The Farm & Forest Forage has been featured alongside a handful of other wholesome experiences hosted across the country.

Exactly 2 years since today, we hosted the wonderful Milena on a hike near Mumbai.

When we happened to chance upon these pictures today, they reminded us of how we braved through covid-19.

We work in a niche space - Adventure Tourism. And within that space itself we are a niche.
We’ve consistently only hosted at extremely rare locations that are not crowded & do not cater to large groups. Our priority has always been the quality & safety of our guests experience. To exist in this space with those set of values is really difficult.

During this covid period is when we began to pivot by hosting more private experiences. We think that during this period, even our guests began to value private/smaller group experiences a lot more.

More the merrier isn’t always true. Sometimes just a few trumps it all.

We’re just 2 weeks away from our 1st Winter batch of The Farm & Forest Forage.

We’re looking forward to another day of hosting people on our farm, sharing new experiences, flavours, wild plants, walking through the forest and frolicking in our backyard stream.

Once again, we had the wonderful company of the Consulate General of Sweden & her husband join us on a private hike.

It’s always been a pleasure interacting & spending time with the family. So much conversation, so much to share, and so much to learn from both of them.

We’re grateful for our time together. Thank you for being such amazing guests.

We've waited for things to get stable, to put out the word to grow the team. We feel now is the time!

No matter how the odds have not really been in our favor over the years with us running our adventure startup while being led by our strong fundamentals & values, we continue to not give up, and always see the light at the end of the tunnel.

We love what we do and do what we love; when that's the case, it's tough to stop.
