There are “wow” moments, and then there are mouth-wide-open-silently-screaming-at-the-sky moments. The Northern Lights in Norway? Definitely the latter. Our travellers head there this autumn and this winter! We are so stoked for them.

From cozy cabins in Tromsø to husky sled rides under neon green waves, this is nature’s own rave—no guest list, no hangover.

Best months? September to March.
Best views? Head above the Arctic Circle (Tromsø, Lofoten, Alta, Rovaneimi, Kemi).
Pro tip: Skip the Instagram filter. This sky comes pre-edited.

Ready to cross this off your bucket list—and maybe cry a little when it happens?

Nights in Oslo.

The intimacy of knowing a city in the night is something else. The sounds, the low hum of the radiator. A squirrel, the screech of a bird. Somebody watching tv inside their home.

The day comes to an end. And another one promises to begin, soon.

A day in Bergen: They say Bergen gives you all four seasons in a day — what they don’t say is how you’ll fall in love with every single one of them.

Start your morning wandering through Bryggen, the UNESCO-listed Hanseatic wharf that looks like a Wes Anderson fever dream — all colourful, slanted wooden houses and cobbled streets. The smell of cinnamon rolls from a tiny bakery lured me in like a cartoon character floating on scent waves.

By noon, take the Fløibanen funicular up to Mount Fløyen, where clouds play peek-a-boo with the city below and I seriously considered becoming a goat just to live with that view.

Afternoon rain? Of course. But Bergen rain is different. It’s like being gently nudged into a coffee shop. Which is exactly what one could do — sit by the window with a hot chocolate and a book, but people-watching in Bergen is elite.

By night, stumble into a cozy jazz bar where locals are so effortlessly cool I almost clapped after someone ordered aquavit in Norwegian.

That’s all folks!

There’s a quiet kind of magic in Norway’s forests. One minute you’re on a well-marked trail, and the next you’re half-convinced you’ve wandered into a Viking myth.

Norway’s forests aren’t just trees — they’re living legends. From the moss-covered pines of Østmarka near Oslo to the endless spruce of Trøndelag, every trail seems to whisper, “Stay a while.” You might meet a moose. Or a troll. Depends on how much coffee you’ve had.

Here, “friluftsliv” (aka, the art of outdoor chilling) isn’t a trend — it’s a birthright. Norwegians have a deep respect for nature, and thanks to “allemannsretten” (the right to roam), you can explore forests freely and respectfully.

Nights in Helsinki are a love letter to melancholy.

A city that doesn’t chase the night away.
It lets it linger.
Like memory. Like longing.

“A night full of stars,
And the longing that rises with them.”
— Rainer Maria Rilke

In Kyoto, time doesn’t rush—it lingers. It leans against old doorways, sinks into tatami mats, and waits patiently for you to notice the scent of hinoki in the air.

In Kyoto, time doesn’t rush—it lingers. It leans against old doorways, sinks into tatami mats, and waits patiently for you to notice the scent of hinoki in the air. One moment you’re sipping matcha in a 200-year-old teahouse, the next you’re watching a monk rake pebbles into poetry at a Zen garden. Japan isn’t just a destination—it’s a masterclass in presence.

We’re curating a Japan itinerary that steps off the tourist treadmill: think forest bathing in Yakushima, knife-forging with blacksmiths in Gifu, and sunrise meditation with mountaintop monks.

Not for everyone. Perfect for you?
