Albino Checkered Keelback aka 'दिवड' in Marathi.

Our body contains a pigment called , and lack of this pigmentation causes in various animals including humans.
A similar hereditary condition called as is also found in animals in which there is an absence of melanin in the eyes, skin, hair, scales, feathers etc.
It is absolutely normal if you find such , , or any other creatures around you. Please don't treat them differently. It is said that the rate of such is very low as compared to the normal individuals due to various reasons like no protection against rays or lack of natural colouration causes exposure to also.

Vultures are one of the least studied creatures of the planet. We often overlook these scavengers, but they play very crucial role by disposing of dead animals and helping to keep healthy as they act as natural carcass recyclers.
In the 1990's India lost several thousands of vultures due to the drug named 'diclofenac'. Vultures feeding on of cattle which were recently treated with died due to kidney failure. India lost nearly 99% of three species of vulture i.e. White rumped vulture, Long billed vulture and Slender billed vulture. In 2006, Indian Government banned the use of this drug. Today, slowly the of vultures is increasing through captive breeding programs and other conservation efforts, but still face threats like destruction and which are far more dangerous.

Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher (Ceyx erithaca ) is the known to be the of India.
It is commonly called by various names such as Black-backed Kingfisher, Miniature Kingfisher, Black-backed Kingfisher, Three-toed Kingfisher, Kingfisher etc.
It's is one of the birds with magnificent colours. A very shy species from the it nests along the banks of and begin to breed in June - with the onset of the Southwest in southwestern .
It feeds on a wide range of prey including frogs, insects, arachnids, lizards and crabs.
