We’ve sorted a few refreshing spots where adventurous Mumbaikars can cool down this season.

📍 Kalmandavi Waterfall – Jawhar, Palghar
A beautiful waterfall with a turquoise pool surrounded by rocky cliffs. The calm, natural pond stays refreshing even in summer and is perfect for relaxing, swimming, and cliff jumping.

📍 Gokundi Waterfall – Falyan, Khopoli
Known for its emerald-green natural pool, hidden between rocky formations. The pond stays cool even in summer due to streams from the Shivsagar Backwaters near INS Shivaji.

📍 Lotus Waterfall – Ekole, Bhandardara
A scenic waterfall with a deep blue pool surrounded by canyon-like rock walls, giving it the look of a natural infinity pool.

📍 Channat Waterfall – Mangaon, Raigad
A tall, narrow cascade flowing through rocky hills forms a peaceful natural pool during summer.

📍 Ring Waterfall – Tamhini Ghat
A hidden waterfall famous for its ring-shaped rock formation. Even though the water flow is less in summer, the forest trail makes it a great trek.

📍 Domzira Waterfall – Jawhar, Palghar
A scenic waterfall surrounded by greenery. Due to the nearby Khadkhad Dam, water often remains in the pond even after the monsoon.

📍 Devkund – Bhira, Raigad
One of Maharashtra’s most famous waterfall pools. Though the waterfall is seasonal, the crystal-clear pond remains throughout the year.

📍 Sandhan Valley – Bhandardara
Also called the Valley of Shadows, it’s perfect for a summer trek as most of the valley stays shaded and has water ponds along the route.

📍 Kalu River Stream – Thitabi, Malshej Ghat
A jungle stream with small ponds that retain water even in summer, and is popular for cliff jumping.

📍 Umbrella Waterfall – Bhandardara
Formed when water released from Wilson Dam falls on a rock shaped like an umbrella. It appears only on certain days.

📍 Randha Falls – Bhandardara
A huge waterfall on the Pravara River that has water throughout the year, though the flow reduces during summer.

📍 Kolad River – Raigad
The Kundalika River is a famous rafting destination where water released from the Bhira Dam allows rafting throughout the year.

Recently visited Grishneshwar Temple and Ellora Caves in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
What a trip it was… a perfect blend of spirituality and heritage! ✨
Taking blessings at Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga (one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva) was a truly divine experience. The temple holds great spiritual importance and is considered the last and one of the most sacred Jyotirlingas in India. 🙏 We also visited the nearby Bhadra Maruti Temple to take blessings.
After that, visiting the magnificent Kailasa Temple at Ellora and the Ellora Caves was simply breathtaking. The Kailasa Temple is the largest monolithic rock-cut temple in the world, carved entirely from a single rock from top to bottom. Built in the 8th century, the level of detail in the carvings and sculptures is truly mind-blowing and showcases the incredible craftsmanship of ancient India. 🏛️

And finally, we ended the trip with a lovely Women’s Day celebration, making the day even more special! 🌸

A perfect one-day spiritual and historical outing.

What an incredible journey! Crystal-clear blue waters, white sandy beaches, and breathtaking island views made every moment feel like a tropical paradise. 💙📸

From exploring the historic Cellular Jail to island hopping around Port Blair, Havelock Island, and Neil Island — each place had its own beauty and charm.

One of the highlights was scuba diving near Elephant Beach and discovering vibrant coral reefs 🤿🌊.
We also spent peaceful time relaxing at the stunning Radhanagar Beach, enjoying the calm sea breeze.
Great adventures, delicious island food, fresh seafood, and mesmerizing sunsets made every evening unforgettable. 🍽️🌅

Moments from our Sunflower Festival Outing 🌻

What a beautiful day it was! Endless golden sunflower fields, peaceful village roads, and so many picture-perfect memories 💛📸 It honestly felt like we had stepped into a postcard.

We enjoyed scenic rides through the countryside, spent time in the blooming sunflower farms, relaxed near a calm lotus lake, and even visited a chikoo baug 🌾🍃 Every stop had its own charm.

We also explored the historic Tarapur Fort, took blessings at Swami Samarth Temple, enjoyed a simple and tasty village-style lunch 🍽️, and ended our day watching a magical sunset at Chinchani Beach 🌅✨

If you’re looking for a relaxing one-day trip near Mumbai with a village touch and beautiful sunflower views — this experience is truly special.
