The indoor heated pool at the Khyber Resort Gulmarg was a little slice of paradise. The warm water was a balm to my tired body and soul, and the breathtaking views of the silver mountain peaks were like a dream. Add in steam and sauna to the mix, and it was pure bliss.

And the best part? There was not another soul in the pool. Just what I had in mind when I escaped Mumbai crowds.
Happy body happy soul.

There wasn’t one thing we could eat, and it took a while to get used to the unfamiliar food smells in the air. …But it was still fun to see how the locals hang out and just stroll around.

This is the famous Chillwa Market in Phuket town. Local foods, music, souvenirs, massage - a lovely place to soak in the local culture.

And I would say definitely in travel too! A large part of my travels have been made memorable by the colourful and enriching conversations I’ve had with my travel buddies while being on the road, and long after coming back too. And now more than anything else, more than just being on the road, I miss the conversations with my friends 💬 ♥️
