It is the 3rd least populated district in India, which guarantees solitude. It has the world's highest restaurant & post office, the world's oldest monastery, the last village of India (towards Tibet), and the 6th highest lake in India at 14,000 ft. It also has 3 locations from where the Milky Way can be seen with the naked eye. It has momos & maggie, lamas in monasteries, snow-capped mountains & roads that are empty.
