Planning a trip to Kashmir this winter? Here are some places you should add to your itinerary!

1. Dal Lake - The crown jewel of Srinagar, Dal lake has everything to offer. From activities like shopping on the floating market, to visiting the man made islands, this place just cannot be missed. This is also the season when you will be able to witness snow peaked mountains from the comfort of your shikara ride.🛶💚

2. Apharwat Peak - Accessible through the Gulmarg Gondola, this peak has a number of activities for you to indulge into. From skiing, to sledging, zorbing and ATV riding this place is a must visit. You can even trek up to see Alpather Lake which remains frozen in the winter months.☃️⛷️

3. Drung Waterfall - Located only half an hour away from the Gulmarg Gondola, this waterfall has become the most Instagrammable place of the season. During the winters, the entire waterfall freezes and creates beautiful icicles,making it look extremely enchanting.❄️🩵

4. Betaab Valley - With clearly visible snow capped mountains, and the Lidder river flowing in the backdrop, this is one of the most scenic views in all of Kashmir. A perfect place to grab a hot cup of kahwa and enjoy the view!☕️🏞️
