This year's list of Padma awardees contains a diverse range of inspiring figures and luminaries. And we were absolutely ecstatic to find Jodhaiya Bai Baiga on that list too. We came across her work for the first time while curating Indian tribal art forms for the Samsung Art Store in collaboration with .More than her stunning motifs and vibrant colours, it's her incredible journey as an artist that never ceases to inspire. From learning to paint in her late sixties to earning national recognition and global acclaim in her eighties, she is a glowing example of the fact that it's never too late to begin. And once you do, you never know where your art might take you.

MLF Satellite: Edition 2 presents TETRAPODS in association with

Tetrapods are one of the most iconic elements associated with the city of Mumbai. A part of this city’s legacy of rebuilding and reclamation, they are entrenched in every Mumbaikar’s visual memory.

This Diwali, presents a one-of-its-kind gift for Mumbaikars that’s inspired by these structures and the magic of lights.

TETRAPODS is a light installation that’s currently on display at Girgaon Chowpatty. Open to everyone, this installation features a set of thirty tetrapod structures that light up to evoke various shapes, patterns and moods. Dynamic, immersive and a stunning addition to one of the city’s most iconic public spaces, TETRAPODS expands the possibilities of celebrating our beloved festival of lights in new ways.
