Thatching is the oldest form of Roofing, it has been around for 10,000 years and it still exists and is still used on many buildings today, from commercial through to residential.

One of the main benefits of thatch is that it is a sustainable resource, meaning that thatched roofs are environmentally friendly. It is probably one of the most sustainable roofing materials available, and its harvesting methods are also eco-friendly.

Thatch is also very popular in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, parts of France, Sicily, Belgium and Ireland. There are more than 60,000 thatched roofs in the United Kingdom and over 150,000 in the Netherlands. Its also very popular roofing solution in rural and some parts of urban India.

But a Thatched Roof has its own set of Disadvantages :

1. Expense, Installing a thatched roof is more labour intensive than other roofing methods, so it is generally more expensive.

2. Fire hazard, Without the proper precautions, thatched roofs can be a fire hazard.

3. Decay.

We are glad to share the images of a new site for an upcoming Warehousing Project where in our SSR Roofing systems "Karbo" shall roof nearly 1 Million Square Feet of Roof for the warehouse buildings.

The Bare Galvalume material used for the prestigious project has been sourced from JSW and all the other material required to complete the project has been produced locally in India.

We call it another "Make in India" moment.

We are glad to share the Launch Video and Roof Top Photo of the Nucleus Mall at Ranchi where in our SSR Roofing systems have been used. The launch was a Star Studded evening.

The Colour Coated Galvalume material used for the prestigious project was sourced from Tata Bluescope, Jamshedpur and all the other material required to complete the project was sourced within India.
