Itinerary
Route: Kathmandu – Mt. Kailash / Manasarovar Lake – Kathmandu
Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival
Your Arrival Time – Airport pickup and transfer to your Hotel.
A short briefing about Kailash Manasarovar Yatra before dinner
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
After Breakfast – Full day sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath and Budhanilkantha.
Packing and preparation for the trip
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche or Syabrubesi
Drive to Dhunche (2000m / 130 km / 6 hrs) or Syabrubesi (1600m / 145 km / 6.5 hrs). Overnight stay Lodge.
Day 04: Drive to Kerung County.
Drive to Rasuwagadhi (1800m / 15 km / 45 min from Syabrubesi), then complete immigration & custom formalities in Nepal & Tibet side at Rasuwagadhi, and then continue further drive to Kerung county (3950m) – 3 hrs / 105 km. Overnight stay Guesthouse
Day 05: Drive to Saga
09:00 AM – After Breakfast – Drive to Saga (100 km – 5hrs).
Day 06: Drive from Saga to Mansarovar Lake
Drive towards Manasarovar Lake (450km – 7 – 8hrs) crossing beautiful places and stay at the shore of the Lake. Fill spiritual water.Parikrama of Manasarovar Lake by vehicle (3 hrs – 90 km)
Day 07: Drive to Darchen
Most of the day – Take holy bath and perform Puja (prayer ritual) at Manasarovar Lake

Day 08: First Day of Outer Kora – Trek to Dirapuk
We drive to Yamdwar. This is starting point for Kora. We trek to Dirapuk (4860 m) which is 12 kms trek (5-6 hrs). Our night halt is just below the North face of Mt. Kailash. Touching the feet of Mt. Kailash (CharanSparsh) can also be done if the yatri desires. Travelers who do not want to trek around (Parikrama) Kailash can return to Darchen.
Stay in a guest house on multiple sharing basis.
Day 09: Second Day of Outer Kora – On to Zuthulphuk with Trek to Dolma La Pass
Trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass and proceed to Zuthulpuk (22 km trek for 7-8 hours trek) . This is the most difficult journey throughout the yatrasince you have to trek up to 18,600 ft. Then we descend to Gaurikund and further trek along the river Indus to Zuthul-puk. Stay in a lodge.
NOTE: Those yatris who do not undertake the Parikrama, will be waiting back at Darchen.
Day 10: Drive to Saga
08:00AM – After a short trek (2 hrs), we are picked up a couple of kms before Darchen. We meet the other members who had stayed back and then drive to Saga.
Day 11: Drive back to Kerung
Back journey, drive to Kerung County. Overnight stay at Guesthouse
Day 12: Drive to Kathmandu
Drive back to Kathmandu via Rasuwagadhi border completing immigration formalities – around 8-10 hr / 265 km.
Day 13: Transfer to Kathmandu Airport:
You will be dropped to the Airport for your fight back home.

Note: Foreign Passport Holders need to arrive to Kathmandu 03 Working days before the fixed dates (Day 01 in the itinerary) for the Chinese Visa (Saturday and Sunday is not considered as working days). For Indian Passport holders, we will need their passport 07 working days prior to the trip in our Delhi office. Please make sure that the Indian Passport Holders have ElectionVoters Card with them.
