After graduating from the University of Mumbai in 2000, he started working in various coaching institutes and colleges as a visiting faculty. Simultaneously he pursued further studies for Masters in Commerce with Business Management, followed by Masters in Arts in the subject of Economics. Having completed his
M. in 2003 and M. in 2011, he is presently conducting research for his Doc

toral Thesis (Ph. D) on the topic “Growth of Mutual Funds in India & its impact on national income”. His commenced his career in the field of education in 1998 when he joined Lakhani Educational Classes as Chief Administrator. In 2001 he started lecturing as a visiting faculty for the subject of Economics at :

1) H. V. K. Tanna College of Commerce at Ghatkopar
2) Mahatma Education Society’s College at Chembur
3) K. J. Somaiya Degree College of Arts and Commerce at Vidyavihar. He had the honour of being felicitated by H. Tanna College of Commerce in 2002 and again in 2007 for his indefatigable efforts in producing cent percent results in Economics subject during those academic years. He has also taught Economics at :
1) Lakhani Educational Classes at Ghatkopar,
2) Ganesh Commerce Classes at Bhandup,
3) Krishna Commerce Classes at Vikhroli,
4) Pankaj Commerce Tutorials at Ghatkopar,
5) Bala Commerce Classes at Ghatkopar &
6) Nimesh Commerce Classes at Ghatkopar. At present he is running his own thriving coaching institute in Ghatkopar named “Foray Commerce Academy” and was also associated with the legendary Pravin Commerce Classes as a lecturer of Economics. Foray Commerce Academy (FCA)
Enriched with an experience of over a decade in teaching and administration, Prof. Pruthviraj Dilipsinhji Desai established “Foray Commerce Academy” in the year 2007. From June 2007 to February 2013 this premier institute was located at 13, Neelkanth Market, M. G. Road, Ghatkopar (East), Mumbai 400 077. In March 2013, with a view to cater to the growing students’ need, it was shifted to bigger and better premises nearby at 107, Zest Business Spaces, M. Since its inception FCA has always striven to provide the best quality coaching to its deserving students. The elite team of “Foray Commerce Academy” has consistently turned ‘Believers’ into ‘Achievers’.
