Backpacking Trip to Rameswaram - Dhanushkodi:

Take a break from the mundane and escape where spirituality meets history. The beautiful island of Rameshwaram is sure to enthrall each one of us as the Hindu texts describe this as from where Lord Rama launched his battle against the mighty Ravana.

How about some spooky experience? Then the ghost town of Dhanushkodi is one such place. Since the 1964 Rameswaram cyclone destroyed it?

If the engineering marvels excite you, take some time to savor the view of India's first sea bridge. The Pamban bridge connecting Rameshwaram island to the mainland turned 100 years old in 2014, and is still going strong.
