On Guru Poornima today , remembering my beloved Sir/ Guru Late Shri K.K. Rai sir ..

I was very lucky to be trained under him , since he was a penholder grip and i am also a penholder grip player. Sir was god sent to me.
He made me from a nowhere player to a national level player.

Attending one of his training sessions in Kalidas, Mulund, i used to fall down playing his strong block agains my top spin. He used to calmly say to me " Prateek keep on playing no matter what, never stop".

He had presented me one of his Penholder grip ply to me, since i also play penholder grip , i will always treasure that. Now I passed on that ply to Sagar Kasture :).

Once i had stopped playing TT casue of some personal problems in life, he immediately called me up and said " Prateek dont stop no matter what, keep on playing".

thats how he was , loved everyone and loved by everyone.

He was a champion in all aspects of life - Game wise , Human wise ..always ready to help anyone anytime , and always ready to share a joke..

Today i remember him by my heart & soul , may his blessing be with me always..

He's still alive .. in me.
