World Post Day is celebrated every year to create awareness about the role the postal sector plays in everyday lives, the contribution of the post to the social and economic development of nations. Women Voyagers had undertaken Spiti Trip before the pandemic, Hikkim - World's Highest Post Office - imagine how much difficulties, these postmen face to deliver letters - they travel approx. 46 kms on foot everyday to ensure our messages reach our beloved ones. Women Voyagers got the opportunity to meet one of the postmen during our visit, he willingly posed for us.

Khurchan : delicious sweet made from milk. The top texture is a bit crisp, and the bottom layers are soft, and smooth. My quest for finding hidden gems of our country can never die. When I went to this small little sleepy town in western Uttar Pradesh – called Khurja – I realised that not only famous for its pottery, but the most amazing, delicious sweet called Khurchan. It is mildly sugared, which I instantly fell in love with. This sweet is prepared so laboriously, that only a handful halwais want to spend their time on this. will be doing a road trip to Agra on 10th April 2021.
