Château De Vaux-Le-Vicomte: An Inspiration for Versailles:

France is home to innumerable castles that are also a testament to the lives of its powerful and well-known first on occupants. Today we are visiting Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte which waits to tell you it’s stories through a captivating virtual tour.

Vaux-le-Vicomte, château near Melun, France, designed in 1656 by Louis Le Vau for Nicolas Fouquet, who was finance minister to King Louis XIV. The garden, designed by André Le Nôtre, was the prototype of the gardens that Le Nôtre later designed for Louis XIV at Versailles.

Situated 50 minutes South from Paris, the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte is accessible by public transport, by car or with excursions departing from Paris!

The visit to the estate lasts about 3 hours. The ideal is to spend the day at Vaux-le-Vicomte in order to take full advantage of the French formal garden.

There are various booking options available online that included immersive and culinary experiences and also ticket booking is available onboard.

Machu Picchu is one of the world’s most breathtaking sights in the world. Situated about 2,430 meters (7,972 ft) above sea level, the former Incan citadel is on the bucket lists of tourists around the globe.

The best months of the year to visit Machu Picchu or hike the Inca Trail in 2020 are late March, April, May and September, October, and early November. The closest Airports are in Cusco and Lima.

Some Facts to remember :
>> Machu was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.
>> In 2007, Machu Picchu was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in a worldwide Internet poll.
>> The Peruvian government is combating over-tourism and has taken lots of measures at Machu Picchu.
>> You can't buy tickets at the entrance.
>> You have to prebook from the official government website or certified sellers well in advance because the Peruvian government only allows a limited number of visitors each hour.

Note: Right now it's closed but once Machu Picchu opens you can take a trip in the fall.
