Rare Grooves was formed with the realisation of bringing dance to the people and spreading the passion and knowledge of this culture. Rare Grooves starts with the belief that dancers can practise many different styles. By incorporating a wide variety of techniques we believe that our students can expand their dance vocabulary and find the power of their own unique expression. Rare Grooves holds cl
asses in a myriad of styles including Salsa, Bachata, Afro-Cuban, Pachanga, Cha-Cha, Boogaloo, Kizomba, Semba, Tarranxinha to other street styles like Hip-Hop, House, Breaking, Waacking, Popping and Krumping. Classes are structured with a strong emphasis on basics, technique and groove. Whilst establishing the fundamentals of any given style, our instructors utilise their International dance experience and passion to the optimum level to format the classes. Through the avenues of performance, workshops, practice sessions we want to cultivate interest and talent in the future generations.
