Sunderban National Park
Batch 1: 17th-20th December 2026 (Open)
Situated in the delta of the Brahmaputra and Ganga rivers, the Sundarbans is the world’s largest river delta and mangrove forest. Home to 90% of India’s mangrove species, it’s a biodiversity hotspot. The Royal Bengal Tiger, the region’s flagship species, roams freely here, and one might even spot it swimming across a channel. The slow-moving boat safari is also perfect for photography here, along with the mystical mangrove landscape. The Sundarbans is also the best place in India to spot the Saltwater Crocodile and Water Monitor Lizard. Winter brings over 400 bird species, birds like Scarlet-backed Flowerpecker, rare dark form of the Changeable Hawk-eagle, Grey-headed Lapwing, Chestnut-capped Babbler, Mangrove Whistler, Buffy Fish-Owl, seven Kingfisher species, including the Brown-winged Kingfisher.
Batch limit: 10
