Kerala Tourism is set to launch a seaplane service for tourists in the near future. A trial run will be flagged off between Bolgatty Palace and Mattupetty Dam by the Hon’ble Minister for Tourism and Public Works Shri P.A. Mohamed Riyas on November 11. Hon'ble Minister for Industries, Coir and Law Shri P. Rajeeve will preside over the function.
The seaplane is expected to land at the Kochi backwaters on November 10, prior to the flag off ceremony the next day. This will be followed by a reception for the flight crew.
