We have successfully completed Munnar to Idukki bicycling ride to promote Munnar and Idukki as a responsible tourism destination, pollution-free travel mode, healthy lifestyle, etc….
Also, this is a preliminary program of the 50th year celebration drive of Idukki district formation

Lockhart tea estate is situated 8 km away from Munnar town towards the Thekkady/Madurai road and will take about 30 minutes from Munnar town.
You can catch stunning views of the green, carpeted tea fields as you follow the tea trail through the Lockhart Tea Estate. We offer walks lasting from 30 min to 03 - 04 hours here. During the tour, you can interact with the ladies picking tea leaves, depending on the area where they are picking (Sundays are Holiday) and you can also visit the Lockhart tea factory if interested.
