Makar Sankranthi is celebrated across india 🇮🇳 today. Cows are decorated for this occasion and taken on procession.they are also made to cross the 🔥 fire. This common ritual in rural Karnataka and it is called “kichchu haayisuvudu” people believe this will bring a good luck. Scientific reason for kichchu haayisuvudu is a part of removing bugs from cows body.
Today this was held in siddalingapura in mysuru- Bengaluru highway.
