Successful Everest Base Camp Expedition by Durgaraj Adventure, Nashik and Climbjeen दुर्गराज ॲडव्हेंचर, नाशिक आणि क्लांबिजीन यांची एव्हरेस्ट बेस कॅम्प मोहीम यशस्वी
A joint expedition to Everest Base Camp 🏔️, organized by the leading mountaineering and trekking organizations of Nashik—Durgaraj Adventure and Climbjeen—was successfully completed from April 2 to April 16, 2025 📅. This special mission was arranged to mark the 25th anniversary 🎉 of Durgaraj Adventure.
Under the leadership of Priyanka Mohite (Everest summiteer from Climbjeen) and Jyoti Ugle (experienced mountaineer from Durgaraj), a total of 9 adventurers successfully completed this thrilling expedition ✨.
They braved:
Bone-chilling cold ❄️ (-22°C)
Steep, rugged mountain paths ⛰️
Towering snow-covered peaks in all directions 🏔️
Dwindling oxygen levels ⏬
Sudden snowfalls 🌨️
Torrential rain 🌧️
Dense fog with near-zero visibility 🌫️
Despite all odds, all 9 climbers reached Everest Base Camp with determination and courage.
At 5,364 meters altitude, they proudly hoisted the Indian tricolor 🇮🇳 and chanted praises for India and Maharashtra.
A remarkable aspect: the team had 7 women and only 2 men! 🙌 Their dedication over the past 3 months was commendable. Even from abroad, Amruta Dhotarkar of Team Durgaraj guided them online in yoga and pranayama 🧘‍♀️. Om Ugle, a renowned mountaineer, provided key fitness training 💪.
Their success was built on:

Team members: Seema Baynavar, Pallavi Kolhe, Rupali Paithankar, Dr. Ashwini Narkhede, Sharayu Ravarane, Jyoti Ugle, Priyanka Mohite, Dilip Bharitkar, and Julien.
Most impressive of all: None of them needed even a single medicine tablet 💊❌.

०८ मार्च २०२५... महिला दिन विशेष :-
दुर्गराज च्या महिला गिर्यारोहकांनी केला डांग्या सुळका सर...
आज महिला दिनाचे अनेक कार्यक्रम जगभर साजरे होत आहेत. म्हणून या महिलांनी ठरवलं, आपणही असं काही करावं की महिला दिनी ते खास ठरावं.
महिलांनी सर्वच क्षेत्रांत आघाडी घेतली आहे, महिला कशातच कमी नाही अशी अनेक प्रकारची वापरून वापरून मिळमिळीत झालेली वाक्य बाजूला ठेवून या महिलांनी अत्यंत कठीण समजल्या जाणाऱ्या रॉक क्लाइंबिंग या प्रकारालाच हात घातला.
नाशिक जवळच डांग्या हा सुळका आहे. उंची १८० फूट आहे .
आपली शारीरिक, मानसिक शक्तीचा कस पाहणारं हे काम आहे. सर्व सहकारी यांनी सर्व साहित्य आणि जबाबदारीचे योग्य वाटप करून आज सकाळी ४.०० वाजताच या मोहिमेसाठी कूच केले.
अंधारात उभी चढण चढत असताना, सुंदर गारवा जणू सर्व महिलांना All the Best म्हणत होता.
सकाळी ठीक ५ वा. पायथा गाठला आणि नाश्ता करून गिर्यारोहणांस सुरुवात झाली.
क्लाइम्बिंग स्टार्ट सौ. ज्योती उगले यांनी केले. सकाळी ठीक ११:३० वा. सर्व महिला सुळक्यावर पोहचल्या. एक दोन ठिकाणी चांगलीच परीक्षा बघितली या डांग्या सुळक्याने, पण प्रत्येक कठीण परिस्थिती वर मात करत हे आरोहण यशस्वी झाले.
या साठी दुर्गराज ॲडव्हेंचर या संस्थेचे ओम उगले, करण शेवाळे, नीलेश , किरण खैरे यांनी मोलाचे सहकार्य केले. अन्न-पाणी, प्रवास नियोजन, आर्थिक आणि तांत्रिक सहकार्य या वेळी खूपच महत्वाचे असते. ही सर्व बाजू दुर्गराज ॲडव्हेंचर परिवाराने उत्तम रित्या सांभाळली.
या मोहिमेत सौ. ज्योती उगले, सौ. सीमा बयनवार, कुमारी ऋतुजा पोळ, कुमारी याज्ञिका सहाने या चार महिलांनी या सुळक्यावर झेंडा फडकवला.
या अनोख्या मोहिमेद्वारा महिलादिनी एक आगळी वेगळी मानवंदना दुर्गराज ॲडव्हेंचर परिवारातील या महिलांनी दिली. त्या बद्दल सर्व थरातून त्यांचे अभिनंदन होत आहे.
