Nashikkarno, Tumhala Mahit Ahe Ka? 🚩
Ramayana isn’t just a story written in books its living, breathing history is scattered all around Nashik. One such powerful, soul-stirring spot is Sarvathirtha Taked.
✨ The Divine History:
The Battle: When Ravan was forcefully abducting Mata Sita, it was the brave bird king Jatayu who fought him single-handedly in the skies above this region.
The Ultimate Moksha: Ravan severed Jatayu’s wings, and he fell to the earth right here. When Prabhu Shriram arrived searching for Sita, a blood-stained Jatayu breathed his last right in Shriram’s lap after delivering the news.
The Ramtirth: To quench the dying Jatayu’s thirst, Shriram shot an arrow into the ground, instantly creating a holy freshwater spring known today as the Sarvathirtha Lakshman Kund.
Inside the ancient temple’s Gabhara lies aunderground Shivling. It is believed that only those with true devotion and a pure heart can reach down and touch it!
