Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship conducted the final round of the 2018-19 Business Plan Competition on the 5th of April 2019 at the Pillai Campus in Navi Mumbai.Over 80 Teams from the Panvel and Rasayani Campuses participated in the competition & 5 teams were shortlisted to compete for the grand prize of 1 Lakh Rupees. Industry experts were called in to judge the final round. In the end team Indian Hybrid(PCE) triumphed and won the grand prize. Team Nusta Chai(PHCET) and team Solutions Lifty(PHCACS) 2nd and 3rd respectively.

The PCACS Women's Football team have won the Mumbai University Women Football Championship for the first time by beating the 5-time defending champion St.Andrews College(Bandra) by a score of 3-0 in the finals.Congratulations to these amazing girls and their coach.

FIFA/CIES/PILLAI Sports Conclave was succesfully held at Bangalore.
Experts from various fields of Sports were present & shared their valuable experiences & knowledge about Sports in India. Dr. Jeetendra Shetty - Deputy Director, Directorate of Youth Affairs and Sports, Karnataka was the chief guest for the day. Other dignitaries present were noted sports commentator Mr.Charu Sharma, Arjuna Awardee and Asian Games medalist Ms.Ashwini Nachappa and inspirational social worker Ms. Shukla Bose and Pillai Group stalwarts Dr. K.M Vasudevan Pillai and Dr. Daphne Pillai.
The panel discussion on the theme of the Conclave, "Business and Sports: Creating win-win partnerships", saw three young sports management professionals share their experiences and insights. With varied profiles in sports in terms of playing, managing and running own sports management business, the panelists did justice to the theme by engaging in a lively deliberation.
