Best Season To Visit: Generally one can visit anytime it’s like you will enjoy all months but especially in Late Monsoon and Early Winter is best as rivers are full and all you see is Green Nature everywhere. ��Travelling By Car: Yes you can take your own car as you can get parking at Dasturi approx. 3Kms from Matheran Station (No Vehicle is allowed beyond Dasturi) Apart from Dasturi you can also park at pay and park at Neral Station (West) Parking Stand also there are much private pay and park who allow you at a park in their private property.
Parking Charges: For 12 hours it goes from Rs 50 to Rs150 depend in which season you are coming remember there is a huge rush for parking in Winter.��Toy Train: Its working from (Aman Lodge) Dasturi to Matheran Station Fare Rs 45 per person, Also there is toy train which goes from Neral Station to Matheran (Not in operation now due to work)
Stay: If you are planning for the overnight stay you can get 3 Star Hotels, Lodging, Cottages rates depend on which season you are going if you have barging skill use it, it always work here.
People Around: Local people are polite they understand the importance of tourism and hospitality.
�Bar for Alcohol Available, ATM for Cash Available (But better carry cash from Neral Station as only 1 ATM ), Many Restaurants Accept Credit Cards.
