A heartfelt message from our Co-Founder:
2025 was a challenging and eventful year in the Himalaya - one that truly tested us. The season was shaped by security concerns in Kashmir, political uncertainty in Nepal, and unprecedented weather that brought heavy rain and snowfall across the North-West Himalaya. Just as things started getting back to normal, the Central and Eastern Himalaya were impacted by Cyclone Montha.
Amid constantly changing plans and challenges beyond our control, our team rose to the occasion - continuing to operate safely in some of the remotest parts of the range, without compromising on our standards.
The year also reminded us, once again, that the mountains always decide the outcome. Our role is to go fully prepared, move responsibly, and return safely.
There were also many highs we cherished this year:
We ran four private expeditions across Ladakh, Himachal, and Sikkim sections of GHT-India [Great Himalayan Traverse] along with private trips into some of the remotest corners of Himachal, Nepal, and Arunachal Pradesh. Alongside this, we successfully guided over a dozen summits on 6000m-plus peaks across the Himalaya and led three groups to the summit of Kilimanjaro. We also expanded our full-time operations into Bhutan and are excited to open up more of the Eastern Himalaya for our guests in 2026.
As we wrap up the year and begin preparing for 2026, we want to sincerely thank every climber and trekker who chose to travel with us. Thank you for your trust, patience, and shared love for the mountains. Some of you returned home with summits and milestones; others with lessons, perspective, and unfinished business. All of it matters.
As we look ahead to 2026, our focus remains unchanged: careful planning, strong on-ground leadership, and meaningful mountain experiences delivered responsibly.
We look forward to welcoming you back into the Himalaya - and to many more shared journeys ahead!
Warm Regards,
Avilash Bisht
