My Story – A Delhi Tour Guide with a Local Heart

My name is Vinod, and I am a local tour guide born and raised in Delhi, a city where every street has a story and every corner whispers history.
Growing up in Delhi, I didn’t just learn about monuments from books—I learned them by walking through them,
listening to elders, watching festivals, prayers, markets, and everyday life unfold. From the peaceful chants at Gurudwara Bangla Sahib to the lively chaos of Old Delhi’s narrow lanes, this city became my classroom.
My journey as a tour guide began with a simple dream:
to show travelers the real Delhi—not just the famous sights, but the soul behind them.
Today,
I proudly offer personalized Delhi city tours, often by VIP tuk-tuk, where guests don’t feel like tourists but like friends exploring the city with a local.
I love taking people beyond guidebooks—to hidden stepwells like Agrasen ki Baoli, quiet gardens like Lodhi Garden, colorful streets of Lodhi Art District, and food spots where locals truly eat.
What makes my tours special is not only the places we visit, but the stories I share—about history, culture, daily life, weddings, food, and traditions. I believe a great tour is not rushed; it’s relaxed, friendly, and full of genuine moments.
For me, guiding is not just a job—it’s my passion and pride. Every smile, every question, and every “wow” moment from my guests reminds me why I love what I do.
