One of the best parts of the trip was meeting such lovely solo travellers along the way — strangers who quickly felt like friends. There were so many stories, laughs and spontaneous moments shared around the camp and on safari.

Morocco for New Year’s? 🇲🇦✨

From getting lost in the blue lanes of Chefchaouen and watching the sun disappear behind the Sahara dunes, to sleeping in Moroccan riads, exploring ancient medinas and ringing in the New Year with a bunch of strangers who won’t feel like strangers for very long — this is 10 days of Morocco Mayhem.

📌 A few Morocco travel tips we swear by:

• Carry some Moroccan Dirhams in cash — smaller shops, souks and local cafés may not always accept cards.
• Pack comfortable walking shoes. The medinas of Fes, Chefchaouen and Marrakech are best explored on foot.
• Morocco can have very different temperatures in one trip — especially between the cities, Atlas Mountains and Sahara. Layers are your best friend.
• If you’re shopping in the souks, bargaining is part of the experience. Never accept the first price. 😉
• Keep some luggage space empty. Ceramics, rugs, spices, leather goods… Morocco will test your baggage allowance.
• And for the Sahara? Don’t spend the entire sunset behind your phone. Get your pictures, then put it away. Trust us.

The best parts of our Japan trip weren’t the places everyone told us to visit. 👀🇯🇵

Miyajima Island with its floating shrine and deer. Hiroshima with its powerful history. The old streets of Takayama. And Shirakawa-go — a little mountain village that genuinely feels like a fairytale.

Of course, we love Tokyo, Kyoto and all the iconic Japan experiences too. But there’s so much more to Japan once you go a little beyond the usual tourist trail. 🍁⛩️🚅

Because in Korea, “no visible meat” does not always mean vegetarian.

Kimchi may contain fish sauce.
Tteokbokki may be cooked in anchovy broth.
Vegetable gimbap may still have ham or crab sticks.
