Nirmal “Nimsdai” Purja did not merely climb the world’s highest peaks. He forced humanity to reconsider the limits it had accepted without question—completing all 14 eight-thousanders in 189 days. His death, alongside nine other climbers in the Broad Peak avalanche, is a devastating loss to the global mountaineering community.

Records may eventually be broken.
Time may surpass time.
But the first person who makes the impossible believable occupies a summit no successor can take.

The mountain ended a journey.
It did not reverse what that journey proved.

At Bagdara, turmeric is not left to machines.
It is cared for by hand—plant by plant.

In this video, the young turmeric is almost hidden among the grass and forest growth. A worker sits close to the earth, patiently clearing the space around every plant without stripping the land bare.

This is slow farming.

There are no perfectly manufactured rows and no lifeless, chemically cleared field. The turmeric grows among trees, native vegetation, insects, rain and red forest soil. We remove only what threatens the plant—and allow the rest of the landscape to remain alive.
