The toy town of Karnaprayag is also known as ‘The City of Karna of Mahabharata’. It is famous for connecting the Garhwal region with the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand via NH 109. While on a visit to the Himalayas, Swami Vivekananda also meditated here with his gurus.

√ Humayun's tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun's first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum in 1569-70, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad, Persian architects chosen by her.
It was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent,and is located in Nizamuddin East, Delhi, India, close to the Dina-panah Citadel, also known as Purana Qila (Old Fort), that Humayun found in 1533. It was also the first structure to use red sandstone at such a scale.The tomb was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993, and since then has undergone extensive restoration work, which is complete.
Besides the main tomb enclosure of Humayun, several smaller monuments dot the pathway leading up to it, from the main entrance in the West, including one that even pre-dates the main tomb itself, by twenty years; it is the tomb complex of Isa Khan Niyazi, an Afghan noble in Sher Shah Suri's court of the Suri dynasty, who fought against the Mughals, constructed in 1547 CE.

√ Koteshwar Temple is an ancient grotto temple dating back to a period thousands of years ago. The cave is a part of a huge mountain and locals say that the entire mountain has over 1000 shivlingas on it, about 10-15 of those are even visible on your way down to the temple. A stairway path takes you to the base of the mountain where the temple is situated, with the Alaknanda River flowing adjacently. What amuses me is the water mysteriously seeping through the ceiling and walls of the cave that automatically fall drop-by-drop on the shivlingam. The view of the Alaknanda flowing by between two mountains is a fascinating sight, making Koteshwar Mahadev a perfect spot for spiritual seekers as well as nature lovers alike.

√ The Birthi Water Falls is located about 14 km from Tejam near Munsiyari in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. This cascading fall surges from 400 feet above sea level and can also be reached from Kalamuni Pass. The Birthi Falls is about 35 km from Munsiyari and can be approached easily by a short trek.
