To all Shiva Bhakts who are there in the Amarnath Yatra and those planning to go in 2025, here is my experience from the yatra I was lucky to do back in 2011.

That year, I got the chance to visit the holy Amarnath cave with my friends — Shailesh, Amit Singh, Amit Kumar, and Sushil Pandey. It was the only time we could do this divine journey, and even today, it feels like a blessing.

We took some extra days so we could complete the yatra calmly, without any rush. Walking through the high mountains with chants of “Har Har Mahadev” around us — it was truly emotional and unforgettable.

After the darshan, we stayed in Srinagar and also visited Gulmarg. Those 8 days were full of devotion, laughter, and beautiful memories with friends.

Even now, when I think of those moments, it brings a smile and a sense of peace. We never got the chance to go again, but that one journey has stayed with us forever. Hopefully , we will bless us once again to perform this holy yatra.

To everyone going this year — may you have a safe and peaceful yatra. Don’t forget to take a moment, breathe in the mountain air, and feel Shiva’s presence in every step.

दिनांक 6.9.2023 को प्रभागीय वनाधिकारी रामनगर वन प्रभाग, रामनगर श्री दिगांत नायक एवम उप प्रभागीय वन अधिकारी श्रीमती किरन साह के निर्देशन में एस०ओ०जी०इंचार्ज श्री किशोर गोस्वामी के नेतृत्व में मुखबिर खास की सूचना पर वन सुरक्षा दल रामनगर एवं कालाढूंगी रेंज की संयुक्त टीम द्वारा ग्राम तालिया वह पतलिया कोटाबाग में अलग-अलग दो घरों में छापे मारे गए। छापे के दौरान मोहन सिंह निवासी तालिया के घर पर वन्य जीव (सांभर) के पैर के भाग व ढाई किलो मांस बरामद किया गया तथा मोहन सिंह की निशानदेही पर ग्राम पतलिया के प्रताप राम के घर पर छापे के दौरान 4.5 किग्रा वन्य जीव सांभर का मांस एवम शिकार में प्रयुक्त एक नाली बंदूक बरामद की गई ! तत्पश्चात तीनों अभियुक्तों मोहन सिंह उसके पुत्र मनीष और प्रताप राम को टीम द्वारा गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया छापेमारी टीम में प्रमोद पंत वन दरोगा, त्रिलोक बोरा वन दरोगा, प्रकाश भट्ट वन दरोगा, रवि जोशी लक्ष्मण सिंह अधिकारी वन दरोगा जोशी सुंदर सिंह रावत जगत सिंह शामिल रहे।
