Eyes through the leaves.
This is the moment every jungle drive builds towards and when it finally happens, time stops.
This Bengal Tiger was resting deep in the undergrowth, perfectly still, watching us long before we ever spotted it. That’s the genius of the tiger a 200 kg apex predator that can become completely invisible in the forest. Their vertical stripes aren’t just beautiful, they’re one of nature’s most effective camouflage systems, mimicking the light and shadow of tall grass and dense foliage.
What most people don’t realise is that tigers are largely crepuscular most active at dawn and dusk yet encounters like this, in the heart of the day, remind you that the jungle always has its own rules.
India is home to over 75% of the world’s wild tiger population, and reserves like this one are living proof that conservation, when done right, works.
This is why we do what we do.
