Ever since WNY Holidays Pvt Ltd is set on operating a group in Japan- We've decided to learn Japanese. Not the works- but basics that will help us enhance the travel experience and connect more with the culture and people.
The thought is pretty simple if you ask me. When someone not native to India speaks Hindi- it brings us immense joy and a big smile to our face. We feel respected and valued.
And this also bridges the language barrier one might face.

So here are my top 10 picks that will help you gel with the locals:
1) Konnichiwa (こんにちは) - Hello
Pronunciation: कोन्नीचिवा
A friendly greeting to use during the day.

2) Arigatou (ありがとう) - Thank you
Pronunciation: अरिगातो
Express your gratitude politely.

3) Sumimasen (すみません) - Excuse me/Sorry
Pronunciation: सुमीमासेन
Useful for getting someone’s attention or apologizing.
