In Yakten village ,most of the inhabitant are belongs from Limboo community also from budhist and Hindu religion . Socio economical value is dependent on organic cultivation and dairy firming recently tourism is a new addition in yakten village. The people of Sikkim are mostly rice caters with different type of veg and non veg curry ,dal,soup , pickle ,local organic vegetable dishes . Above this regular cuisine one can also try some local dishes like momo,thuppa, gunruk saup etc. Climate:

Yakten village is the destination which perfect for almost all season. Summer season : Summer is mild with maximum temperature never crossing 28 °C. The pleasant climate attracts lots of tourists during this season. Monsoon or Rainy season : Monsoon are accompanied with intense rain. Lasting from July to August, in monsoon colourful cloud create a panoramic attraction at this hamlet. Winter season: Winters in yakten are pretty extreme with temperatures hovering between 22 °C to 6 °C, though it is one of the best time to visit . What to wear : As the temperature is really chilling even in summer also, tourist should carry light woollen clothes for summer and heavy woollen clothes for winter. How to reach:

"এই মে মাসে গেছিলাম পাক্যং টাউন এর কাছে একদম রুরাল একটা অচেনা গ্রাম যাকতেন, নামছেবং, কর্তক। থাকলাম একটি ফ্যামিলি-রান ফার্ম স্টে ‘কাঞ্চনজঙ্গা ভিউ ফার্ম স্টে’-তে। অভিজ্ঞতাটা ছিল অসাধারণ। পাহাড়ের উপত্যকায় ফুলের স্বর্গরাজ্যের মাঝে এই ফার্ম স্টেতে থাকার অনুভূতি ভাষায় প্রকাশ করা কঠিন। উজ্জ্বল কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা আর গ্রাম্য প্রকৃতির সৌন্দর্য সত্যিই মন ছুঁয়ে যায়। ধন্যবাদ অর্ণব দা ও কপিল জি—আপনাদের আন্তরিক আতিথেয়তা সত্যিই অসাধারণ।" 🌸
