Rupin Pass: Conquered! Four days, -14⁰c , and an altitude that took breath away (literally!). This team battled every frozen step and made it happen. Proof that the views from the top are worth every single drop of sweat and numb finger. Mission accomplished! weren't just trekking Rupin Pass; were the first team to forge a path through the fresh snowfall this season. Four days of breaking trail in -14⁰c to claim this view. This is more than a completion; it's a pioneer achievement!

On 13th September 2025, Goa Jungle Journeys LLP had the absolute pleasure of guiding the energetic BNI group to the mesmerizing Savri Waterfall, Netravali. 💧🌳

The day was more than just a trek—it was an experience! Along the lush forest trails, we were lucky enough to spot a Hump-nosed Pit Viper 🐍 and the fascinating slime mold Fuligo septica 🍄💛, making the adventure even more special.

From breathtaking cascades to unique encounters with wildlife, the trek was a perfect blend of nature, bonding, and discovery. 🌄🙌

A heartfelt thank you to the BNI group for joining us on this journey—your spirit and enthusiasm made it unforgettable! Here’s to more trails, more wildlife, and more memories with Goa Jungle Journeys LLP. 🌿

EXPLORE THE UNEXPLORED THIS WEEK...

GTDC’s trekking expedition to Kumthal KAPARI( unexplored ) this Sunday,7 Th September, 2025

The 7th edition of Monsoon Trekking Expedition by the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) will be conducted on Sunday September 7th , TO KUMTHAL KAPARI is a hidden unexplored gem tucked away in the lush forests of the mhadei region.

A nature enthusiast and avid hiker, would be absolutely blown away by the beauty of this terrain and the surrounding scenery.

The hike is moderate to difficult a walk of 2 hours , but well worth the effort and is only for experienced fit ones. The trail is unexplored and not usual trekk path but offers stunning views of the surrounding forest, as well as glimpses of the waterfall as you approach. The sound of the rushing water grows louder and more intense as you get closer, building anticipation for the main event.

Upon arriving at the summit visitors will be stunned by sheer beauty. The water cascades down from a height of over 70 feet, creating a mesmerizing display of mist and spray.

One of the things you will appreciate most about KAPARI is its relative seclusion. Unlike other popular sites in the region, this one is off beat path and unexplored less crowded. For one to allow to get fully immersed in the natural beauty and tranquility of the area.

Overall, if anyone is looking for a scenic and rewarding hiking experience and test endurance levels, this is the answer. The beauty and thrill combined with the peacefulness of the surrounding forest, truly makes an unforgettable adventure.Delicious veg and non-veg lunch will be provided.

The cost per head is Rs. 1400/-which is inclusive of breakfast, lunch, transportation and guidance.

Transport will leave from Mapusa Residency at 7.15 a.m and from Margao Residency at 7.00 a.m. Reporting at Paryatan Bhavan, Panjim is at sharp 7.45 a.m. Those travelling from Ponda areas should catch a bus at Banastari, other routes pick-up is at Verna, Cortalim , Old Goa & Honda Tisk.

Interested trekkers are requested to carry along an extra pair of clothing, rainwear, trekking shoes, binaculars and snacks to munch . Smoking and consumption of alcohol will not be permitted. * Let's respect Mother nature by not littering the nearby places with plastic wrappers, bottles etc.
