Banned Activities and Nuisances
1. Unauthorized water sports:
Operating or conducting water sports activities without official license or permission.
2 Illegal hawking and vending: Selling goods or services as an unregistered or unauthorized hawker on beaches and public areas.
3. Littering and waste dumping: Throwing garbage, trash, or plastic waste openly in public spaces.
4. Restricted liquor consumption: Drinking alcohol in areas where it is expressly forbidden and leaving broken glass bottles behind.
5. Unpermitted beach parties: Organizing loud or large gatherings and parties on the sand without formal administrative clearance.
6. Environmental pollution: Discharging sewage, chemicals, oil, or waste directly onto beaches or water bodies.
7. Harassment and pestering: Pestering, touting, or aggressively soliciting/harassing visitors and tourists.
8. Illegal beach shacks: Setting up unauthorized shacks, stalls, or commercial structures on the sand stretches.
9. Ticket touting: Unlawfully selling or pushing entry and event tickets informally.
10. Driving vehicles on beaches: Taking cars, bikes, or motorized vehicles onto the sand and shorelines.
11. Open-air cooking: Cooking food using open fires or stoves in unassigned public or tourist locations.
12. Begging: Engaging in public begging at notified tourist spots.
13. Unauthorized massages: Operating informal or unlicensed massage and spa services on the beach.
14. Blocking emergency access: Obstructing pathways meant for lifeguards, emergency responders, or beach cleaning trucks.
15. Dumping sewage on government land: Releasing waste or wastewater onto state-owned beach property.
16. Unlicensed tour guiding: Providing professional guide services without proper official registration.
17. Unauthorised deck-beds/sunbeds: Placing commercial sun loungers or deck-beds outside allocated legal boundaries.
18. Disobeying public servant orders: General defiance of on-duty enforcement authorities managing beach safety.
19. General public misconduct: Creating disorderly disturbances that disrupt public order, hygiene, and safety at designated scenic locations.
