GhoraKatora Dam, Rajgir - A place of tranquil, almost zero pollution, greenery, scenery and serenity

The reservoir is located between two hills. The location is great, beautiful and elegant. It is said that the the horses of the kings of Rajgir used to drink water here. There are two routes to reach the reservoir. One way is via Giriyak, 3km walk over the hills and the other is to go by Rajgir ropeway. The view of the reservoir is a great sight. For protection of the environment, fuel-driven vehicles are prohibited. The conventional vehicle to reach here is gig (hung) or Bagghi is used.

Cuisine play an important role in tourism of any region as they give insight to the speciality of that location & Bihar isn't an exception to it having enormous dishes/recipes in its kitty.

So, let us start with starters(namkeen), bole to snacks which we serve or satiate during our free hours.

Don't misinterpret any dish with other location bcoz our dishes carry spices & recipe altogether different from others - no sweet in salt based items, use of less oil but deep fried, use of mustard oil, home made spices & gravy wherever possible :)
