பொள்ளாச்சி, : ஆனைமலை புலிகள் காப்பகத்தில், கோடை விடுமுறையையொட்டி டாப்சிலிப் விடுதியில் தங்க சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் அதிக ஆர்வம் காட்டுகின்றனர். இதனால் முன்பதிவு தொடர்ந்து நடப்பதாக வனத்துறையினர் தெரிவித்தனர். ஆனைமலை புலிகள் காப்பகத்துக்குட்பட்ட 6 வனச்சரகங்களில் பொள்ளாச்சி, டாப்சிலிப், வால்பாறை சரகங்களில் உள்ள இடங்களுக்கு சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் அதிகளவில் வந்து செல்கின்றனர். பொள்ளாச்சி சரகத்தில் உள்ள குரங்கு அருவி, பொதுப்பணித் துறை கட்டுப்பாட்டில் உள்ள ஆழியார் அணை, பூங்காவுக்கு சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் வந்து சில மணி நேரம் மட்டுமே இருந்துவிட்டு திரும்பி விடுகின்றனர்.

ஆனால், டாப்சிலிப்பிற்கு வரும் சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் அங்கு தங்கி வனத்தின் அழகு மற்றும் வன விலங்குகளையும் கண்டு ரசித்து செல்கின்றனர். டாப்சிலிப் வனத்தைச் சுற்றிப்பார்க்க, வனத்துறை மூலமாக கும்கி யானைகளை கொண்டு சவாரியும் மேற்கொள்ளப்படுகிறது. மேலும், பயணிகள் தங்கி வனத்தின் அழகையும், வன விலங்குகளை கண்டு ரசிக்கவும் வனத்துறை சார்பில் அம்புலி, வுட் அவுஸ், சித்தல், டிரீ டாப், பில்லர் டாப் மற்றும் மூங்கில் குடில் உள்ளிட்டவையில் தங்க குறிப்பிட்ட கட்டணம் வசூலிக்கப்படுகிறது.

டாப்சிலிப் விடுதிகளில் தங்க, பொள்ளாச்சி மீன்கரை ரோட்டில் உள்ள ஆனைமலை புலிகள் காப்பக அலுவலகத்தில் சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் முன்பதிவு செய்து உரிய கட்டணம் செலுத்துகின்றனர். ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் கோடை விடுமுறையை முன்னிட்டு டாப்சிலிப்பில் மே மாதம் முழுவதும் சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் கூட்டம் அதிகளவில் காணப்படும். அதுபோல், இந்த ஆண்டில், கோடை விடுமுறையையொட்டி கடந்த சில நாட்களாக டாப்சிலிப்புக்கு வரும் சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் எண்ணிக்கை அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

சமவெளிப் பகுதிகளில் வெயிலின் தாக்கம் அதிகமாக இருந்தாலும், டாப்சிலிப்பில் சற்று குளிர்ச்சியான சூழல் காணப்படுகிறது. இதன் காரணமாக நாளுக்குநாள் சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் கூட்டம் அதிகரித்துள்ளது. உள்ளூர் மற்றும் வெளியூர்களில் இருந்து சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் அதிகளவில், டாப்சிலிப்பிற்கு வருவது தொடர்ந்திருப்பதால் அங்குள்ள விடுதிகளில் முன்பதிவு தீவிரமாக நடந்து வருகிறது.

இதுகுறித்து வனத்துறையினர் கூறுகையில், ஆண்டுதோறும் கோடை வெப்பம் காரணமாக ஆனைமலை புலிகள் காப்பகம் மூடப்பட்டு சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகளுக்கு தடை விதிக்கப்படும். ஆனால், கடந்த சில ஆண்டுகளாக டாப்சிலிப் வனப்பகுதிக்கு தடை விதிக்கப்படாமல் இருந்தது. அதுபோல், இந்த ஆண்டிலும் சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகளுக்கு தடை என்பது தற்போது இல்லை. இதனால், கோடை விடுமுறையையொட்டி டாப்சிலிப்புக்கு வரும் சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் எண்ணிக்கை அதிகரித்துள்ளது. இங்கு தங்கி வனத்தையும், வன விலங்குகளையும் கண்டு ரசிக்க வெளியூர் சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் முன்பதிவு செய்து வருகின்றனர் என்றனர்.

பொள்ளாச்சி மற்றும் கோயமுத்தூரிலிருந்து ரெகுலர் பஸ் சர்வீஸ் உண்டு. அருகிலிருக்கும் விமான நிலையம் கோயமுத்தூர். அருகிலிருக்கும் ரயில் நிலையம் பொள்ளாச்சி. பசேலென இயற்கைத்தாயின் மடியில் சில நாட்களுக்கு வாழவிரும்புபவர்கள் வால்பாறைக்கு விசிட் அடிக்கலாம்.
