We shared our boat with a fantastic couple from America who had never experienced GT fishing before. We spent time teaching casting techniques, lure action, tackle handling and helping wherever needed. By the end of the trip, they were hooked on the excitement of topwater fishing in the Andamans.

The smiles, the missed strikes, the chaos, the victories — that’s what makes these trips memorable.

One of the best parts of what we do at Andaman Angler is introducing anglers to the world of GT popping for the very first time.

Many people think GT fishing is only for highly experienced anglers, but that’s not true.

With the right guidance, patience and teamwork, anyone can experience the thrill of watching a giant trevally explode on a surface lure.

We had an amazing couple from the USA join us on their first ever popping trip. By the end of the week, they were casting confidently, working lures properly and fully immersed in the addiction that is GT fishing.

Seeing first-timers become passionate GT anglers is something we genuinely enjoy.

There’s something special about watching someone hook their very first Giant Trevally on popper.

We had the pleasure of fishing with a wonderful couple from America on their very first GT popping adventure in the Andaman Islands. From learning the basics of casting big poppers to understanding the rhythm of working surface lures, every day brought new excitement.

We helped with casting when needed, shared techniques, tips and tackle advice, and most importantly had an unforgettable week full of laughs, learning and explosive strikes.

You do not need to be an expert to fish with us. If you’ve ever dreamed about experiencing the adrenaline of GT fishing, we’d love to help make it happen.
