Or you could just paddle out in small wooden village canoes and feel the rhythm of the backwater currents as you row, row and row away. If you are a quintessential adventure seeker, you can hop on to a bicycle, roam about and take in the village life, zigzagging through the paddy fields. And if you are just here to unwind, de-stress, just wake up, stretch and feed the pigeons roosting in the courtyard, laze in the swimming pool, and take in the verdure as you lie on the hammock or traditional “Maadom”s in the backyard, with a book or two from the library if you so wish and nature’s tunes as a playful lullaby.
