🔸06:30 am Reach Base village freshen up gear up for the trek
🔸07:00 am Have Breakfast Tea
🔸07:30 am Introduction round and brief on rules and regulations to be followed by everyone on the event
🔸09:30 am Reach devkund waterfall and have a break for 1 hr (take photos enjoy the site)
🔸11:30 am Start descending to the base village
🔸01:30 pm Reach Bhira dam take some rest along with the lunch break
🔸03:30 pm Leave for Pune
🔸08:30 pm Reach Pune and bid adieu with a promise to meet soon.

Harishchandragad Trek is one of the best trekking spots in the Sahyadris of Maharashtra. Harishchandragad is also known as trekker’s paradise, located in the Boundaries of Pune, Thane & Ahmednagar Districts of Maharashtra state in India. This fort has got an eye-pleasing natural beauty, along with diverse flora and fauna. Harishchandragad is famous for a lot of specialties such as its marvelous natural beauty, tough trek & none other than the beautiful Konkan Kada. The most fascinating spot in Harishchandragad is the Konkan Kada. Taramati peak is another spot for a panoramic view of the valleys. Taramati peak is the highest peak on Harishchandragad in Maharashtra. One must visit the Temple of Harishchandreshwar, Kedareshwar Cave, Ganesh Gufa, Saptatirtha, Kedareshwar, Konkan Kada, Taramati peak.

The height of this temple from the bottom is usually 16 meters. There is a wall of stone in the courtyard of the temple. In front of the wall of this species there is a stone bridge. It is also known as 'the source of Mangalganga', which flows through a leveh Taramat peak below this bridge. Next, the river flows through the village of Pankhachai. There are many caves in the premises of the temple. Some caves are suitable for staying, while some caves have water. The water in these caves is chilled and neat. There is a fourth in the cave behind the temple. There is a stone lying on top of this ground floor. The local villagers believe that Changdeo Rishi had done penance for fourteen years in this room.

तळापासून या मंदिराची उंची साधारणत.... सोळा मीटर आहे. मंदिराच्या प्रांगणात प्राकाराची भिंत आहे. या प्राकाराच्या भिंतीसमोरच एक दगडी पूल आहे. या पुलाच्या खालून एक ओढा तारामती शिखरावरून वाहत येतो यालाच 'मंगळगंगेचा उगम' असेही म्हणतात. पुढे ही नदी पायथ्याच्या पाचनई गावातून वाहत जाते. मंदिराच्या आवारात अनेक गुहा आहेत. काही गुहा रहाण्यासाठी योग्य आहेत, तर काही गुहांमध्ये पाणी आहे. या गुहांमधील पाणी थंडगार व अमृततुल्य आहे. मंदिराच्या मागे असणाऱ्या गुहेमध्ये एक चौथरा आहे. या चौथऱ्यात जमिनी खाली एक खोली आहे, यावर प्रचंड शिळा ठेवली आहे. या खोलीत 'चांगदेव ऋषींनी' चौदाशे वर्ष तप केलं होते अशी स्थानिक गावकऱ्यांची श्रध्दा आहे.
