What the Supreme Court Said About Tiger Safaris 🐅⚖️

There has been a lot of confusion after the recent Supreme Court judgment on Tiger Safaris in India.
Here is a clear, simple breakdown of what the ruling actually says — and what it means for wildlife tourism, conservation, and tiger reserves.

🚫 What Is Banned

No tiger safari (captive or enclosure-based) inside core or critical tiger habitats.
No zoo-style safari parks inside protected forest zones.
No safari projects that fall inside a tiger corridor.

✅ What Is NOT Banned

Regular wildlife tourism is NOT affected.
Jeep safaris in tourism zones continue as usual.
Wildlife tourism in designated areas is allowed.

This ruling protects tigers where they need it the most — their core habitats.
At the same time, it ensures responsible wildlife tourism continues to flourish in India’s tiger reserves.
