NETWORK TOURS took a group of 22 pax to Egypt in the month of April 2019. Egypt is rich in ancient culture and wealthy history which is depicted through great monument all along the river Nile and nearby desserts. In Giza we visited three famous Pyramids and great Sphinx. Egyptian museum in Cairo exhibits span from the beginning of the old Kingdom (3500 BC) of ancient Egypt through the Greco-Roman period till 400 BC.You can explore the priceless treasures of the young pharaoh Tutankhamun found in his tomb which was discovered in the Valley of Kings.Had a great time at Sound and Light show at Pyramid of Giza. Saqqara and Memphis are additional attractions for those who still want to see the ancient stepped pyramid and statue of Ramses II. Travelling by Nile Cruise from Aswan, Abu Simbel, Edfu to Luxor was the great experience. It is the best way to see the incredible ruins of ancient Egypt and modern life along the banks of the Nile, which has brought life to Egypt for millennia. The cruise sails between Luxor and Aswan to visit fascinating attractions in the ancient Upper Egypt such as Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Philae Temple, and more. Later we visited Alexandria which is the second largest city in Egypt, known as "The Pearl of the Mediterranean", has an atmosphere that is more Mediterranean than Middle Eastern. Its ambiance and cultural heritage distance it from the rest of the country. Tomb of Alexander the King is worth visiting.
