Languages in Maharashtra / महाराष्ट्रीतील भाषा

Varhadi - Varhadi is a dialect of Marathi spoken in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra and by Marathi people of adjoining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh in India. It's also called as Nagpuri. This Language written in Devanagari font.

वऱ्हाडी बोली - हि भाषा मराठी ची पोटभाषा असून ही भाषा महाराष्ट्रातील विदर्भ, छत्तीसगढ, मध्य प्रदेश, तेलंगण राज्यात बोलली जाते. या भाषेला नागपुरी असे सुद्धा बोलले जाते. हि भाषा देवनागरी लिहिली जाते.

Languages in Maharashtra/महाराष्ट्रातील भाषा

Marathi - Marathi is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by about 73 million people mainly in the Indian state of Maharashtra and neighbouring states. Marathi first appeared in writing during the 11th century in the form of inscriptions on stones and copper plates. From the 13th century until the mid 20th century, it was written with the Modi alphabet(मोडी लिपी). Since 1950 it has been written with the Devanagari alphabet(देवनागरी लिपी). Marathi Language day is celebrated on 27 February.

मराठी - मराठी ही भारतीय-आर्यन कुळातील भाषा असून जगात ७३ दशलक्ष लोकं हि भाषा बोलतात. प्रामुख्याने हि भाषा भारतातील महाराष्ट्र आणि शेजारच्या राज्यात बोलली जाते. ११ व्या शतकात मराठीतील पहिला लिखित (शिलालेख आणि ताम्रलेख) आढळला आहे. १३ व्या शतकापासून ते २० व्या शतकाच्या मध्यापर्यंत मराठी मोडी लिपीत लिहिली जायची नंतर १९५० पासून मराठी देवनागरी लिपीत लिहायला सुरुवात केली. मराठी भाषा दिवस हा २७ फेब्रुवारी ला साजरा केला जातो.

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)- It is an Indian stock exchange located at Dalal Street, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai (formerly Bombay), Maharashtra, India. Established in 1875, the BSE is Asia’s first stock exchange. It claims to be the world's fastest stock exchange, with a median trade speed of 6 microseconds. The BSE is the world's 11th largest stock exchange with an overall market capitalization of $1.43 Trillion as of March, 2016.

The Deccan Odyssey - It is a special luxury train (started in January 2004) based on the model of Palace on Wheels to boost tourism on the Maharashtra route of the Indian Railways. It is a venture of the Maharashtra Government and the Ministry of Railways, Government of India.In addition to being a train that touches tourist spots, this aims to be a complete 5-star hotel on wheels, with AC 11 Deluxe coach, 2 Luxury coach, two restaurants and a bar, a sauna, business center, Gymnasiums, Music System, Couch, Furniture, Intercom and other such amenities on board. The coaches fitted with special amenities were manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai.

डेक्कन ओडिसी (अर्थ: दक्खनचा प्रदीर्घ प्रवास) - ही महाराष्ट्रातील पर्यटनविकासाकरता भारतीय रेल्वे व महाराष्ट्र राज्य पर्यटन विकास मंडळ, महाराष्ट्र शासन यांनी कार्यान्वित केलेली आलिशान रेल्वे आहे. पॅलेस ऑन व्हील्सच्या धर्तीवर आधारलेली ही रेल्वेगाडी जानेवारी २००४ मध्ये सुरू झाली. महाराष्ट्रातील पर्यटनस्थळे पाहताना पर्यटकांना महाराष्ट्राच्या वैभवशाली परंपरेला साजेसा राजेशाही प्रवास अनुभवता यावा याकरता डेक्कन ओडिसीमध्ये इंटरकॉम, म्युझिक सिस्टम, उंची फर्निचर, पलंग, वातानुकूलन यंत्रना असलेले ११ डिलक्स डबे व २ लक्झरी डबे आहेत. आलिशान रेल्वेगाडीपेक्षाही ही गाडी 'चाकावरचे पंचतारांकित हॉटेल' वाटावे यादृष्टीने गाडीमध्ये दोन शाही रेस्टॉरेंट, बार, सॉना, जिम्नॅशियम, कॉन्फरन्स रूम अश्या सुविधादेखील आहेत. या रेल्वेचे डब्बे हे चेन्नई मधिल आयसीएफ फॅक्टरीत बनवले आहेत.

Make in Maharashtra - It is an initiative started by Government of Maharashtra on sidelines of Make in India initiative by Government of India. Main objective of this government initiative is to create business friendly atmosphere in Maharashtra by increasing ease of doing business as much as possible. Main target is to increase the Foreign Direct Investment and Local Investment in the region to further increase the industrialisation in Maharashtra.

Information On GST Bill

◆What is GST ?
● The Goods & Services Tax Bill (Marathi / Hindi : वस्तू व/एवं सेवा कर विधेयक) officially known as "One Hundred & Twenty-Second Amendment Bill.

◆How it will impact ?
● GST will have a far reaching impact on almost all the aspects of the Business operations in the country, for instance, pricing of products & services ; Supply chain optimization; IT, accounting & tax compliance system.
In GST, all taxes will be collected at the point of Consumption. It means 18 % tax will be applied on products which includes both Central & State Government taxes. Transparency in taxation should deter government from indiscriminately increasing taxes as there is bound to be public backlash.
Once barriers between states are removed. Consumers will not end up paying "Tax on Tax" which is what happens when goods (वस्तू) move across state borders.
