We had a great time at Bhimashankar-Bhorgiri trek with super enthusiastic Travorbis-Ileseum family members.. Started with darshan at Gupt Bhimashankar followed by a scenic trail with water streams, white outs and lot more.. Ended up at a beautiful fortress of Bhorgiri..

🏁 *Bhorgiri - Bhimashankar Jungle Trek* 🐾🏁 *About Trek:* ⛰ Established in th Western Ghats of Maharashtra and covering an expanse of around 120 KM at an altitude of 3400 feet high up in th mountains. There are a beautiful temple of *Lord Shiva* amidst the forest of the impenetrable jungle which is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in *India* that draws pilgrims & followers. *Bhimashankar* is of prominent religious significance, and one can witness packs of believers touring here during the month of Shravan. It is said that *Lord Shiva* killed Rakshas Tripurasura after getting angry. The heat created from their battle created the source of river *Bhima* That is why it is described as the *Bhimashankar*. Black peak expedition (6387 mtrs)

Me along with 7 amazing participants took a challenge to climb black peak(kalanag) situated in Saraswati range of mountains in Uttrakhand..unfortunately,weather god’s didn’t support us..we reached till camp 2(Arjun chhad)which is around 5100 mtrs or so and summit happens around 6100 mtrs or so..

Since we had to face extreme weather conditions we didn’t took risk of going ahead as safety was our no.1 priority..and Everyone is safe and sound which is real success for us

Congratulations to all the participants and we are really proud of you..this expedition was a great experience,learning and definitely motivates us to push and do more of this ..

We also explored some local beautiful villages and their food and culture..have shared fee glimpses of it here..subsequent stories and experience will be shared 🙌
