Information about the trek:

Vasota Fort is an ancient hill fort located at an altitude of 1171 meters near Bamanoli in Satara district of Maharashtra. The fort is nestled in the deep forests and valleys of the Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary. Situated on the banks of Shivsagar Lake, this picturesque fort is surrounded by water on three sides.

Major Attractions: New Vasota Fort, Babu Kada, Hanuman Temple and Mahadev Temple, Chuna Ghana, Boat Ride, Koyna Wildlife, and Tent Camping.

Itinerary

Day 1: Departure & Heading towards Hampi. Depart from your respective cities in the evening for an exciting overnight journey to Hampi.

Pune pick-up points:

Enjoy an overnight journey towards Hampi.

Day 2 : Arrival, Adventure, and Sunset Views. Arrive in Hospet/Anegundi and check into your hotel.

Settle in, freshen up, and enjoy a refreshing breakfast.

Spend your morning at Sanapur Lake, where you can try cliff jumping (if permitted) and enjoy an acrobatic ride.

Savour a delicious local meal at a nearby restaurant.

Head to Anjanadri Hills, believed to be Lord Hanuman's birthplace, and trek to the top for a mesmerising sunset and panoramic views.
