This is how the last Parghani evening unfolded.

A home opened its doors.
A table filled up.

And Chhattisgarhi dishes —
simple, unfamiliar, and quietly rich in flavour —
did what they usually do:
bring people closer, without trying too hard.

Conversations stayed. Plates slowed down.
No one was in a hurry to leave.

Not a restaurant. Not a usual night out.
