It has been a wonderful cooperation support from Chhattisgarh nodal office, Indiatourism Mumbai. Much of the events and programs conducted with the support of the nodal office has been a massive success, providing platform for the stakeholders and visitors where everyone can be benefitted equally. Awareness drives like sustainable tourism promotion, zero plastic campaign, Swachhata Abhiyan, heritage walks, and cultural awareness campaigns organized by the nodal office are essential and integrally important for the state which has been neglected by the state tourism board over the years. Nodal office has played a vital role in bolstering the new and small stakeholders of the travel and tourism industry of the state and implementing the schemes and policies of the central government. It is also helping develop the bridge between various government departments by guiding about tourism development and management plans for development authorities and other departments. I look forward to the collaboration and support of the Chhattisgarh nodal office in the forthcoming years as well.

REVIEW 01:

The efforts of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India to expand regional presence are excellent, this initiative not only reflects the vision of the Ministry but also clearly demonstrates your commitment towards strengthening tourism across India. By increasing collaboration with State Tourism Departments, local stakeholders and industry bodies, you are building a strong, integrated tourism ecosystem.

Strengthening the presence of the Ministry in areas where the direct reach of the Ministry was limited earlier through the appointment of Managers and Assistant Managers in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM) is a laudable step. This will not only strengthen the initiatives of the Ministry at the local level but will also send a strong message of awareness and dedication towards tourism in different corners of the country.

The positive results achieved by the Ministry in the last 24 months are a testimony to the fact that better coordination with local tourism boards and stakeholders will definitely enrich and strengthen the tourism landscape of India. This expansion even in remote and deprived areas will give a new impetus to the development of tourism and important projects like Swadesh Darshan and Prasad schemes can be taken forward more strongly.

We appreciate this initiative, which highlights the importance of tourism at the national level and is striving to take the vision of the Ministry to every corner of the country. Your efforts will surely help in writing a new chapter in the tourism sector of India.

"छत्तीसगढ़ में हुआ ‘पर्यटन मित्र’ योजना का शुभारंभ"

पर्यटन मंत्रालय, छत्तीसगढ़ नोडल कार्यालय ने छत्तीसगढ़ पर्यटन बोर्ड (सीटीबी) के सहयोग से 4 नवंबर, 2024 को रायपुर स्थित सीटीबी कार्यालय में ‘पर्यटन मित्र’ और ‘पर्यटन दीदी’ प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया। इस पहल का उद्देश्य स्थानीय हितधारकों के बीच पर्यटन जागरूकता, कौशल विकास और सामुदायिक जुड़ाव को बढ़ावा देना है।
