The ultimate purpose behind our work at The Himalayan Outback is to expose visitors to the natural and cultural treasures found only in India’s Himalayas. We strive to reconnect people to the stunning environment, the amazing flora, fauna, aquatic life, and inspiring communities that have inhabited this precious land for centuries. By reconnecting to wild, untouched, and natural India, we hope to

raise environmental awareness, assist in developing a deeper respect for the local cultures, and contribute to conservation efforts to protect the ancient lifestyles and ecosystems of this sacred region.

🎥🌄 Film Release!

Stuart Walker, an angler of international acclaim & with a huge YouTube following, has been coming on fishing expeditions with The Himalayan Outback for the past 18 years!

His obsession & target is the incredibly beautiful and hard fighting Golden Mahseer, also known as the “tiger of the freshwater”.

Stu has just released Part 1 of his latest two-part travel and fishing documentary, “The Adventure of a Lifetime - In Search of the Himalayan Golden Mahseer”.
This film is now live on Stu’s YouTube channel: ‘Stu Walker Fishing Adventures’.

This is a very special film since Stu also got an opportunity to target the Goonch, a prehistoric looking catfish with a nasty disposition!

Part 2 of this fabulous adventure will be released shortly.
