We are on the verge of loosing the biodiversity of Konkan. This Indian gaur was seen roadside near the village, quenching its thirst. The acquisition of land by new MNC’s and expanding agriculture is a real threat to the biodiversity, frequent man animal conflicts is the result of the same and if appropriate measures are not taken we may head towards small ecosystem collapse leading to a bigger climate disaster.
